Delete your data

You can delete your data from Thayu.AI at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted and how long it takes. Reliancy Kenya Limited runs Thayu.AI (7545-1000 Thika, Kenya).

1. If you have a Thayu.AI account

1. Sign in and open Settings → Privacy & your data.
2. Optional: choose Download my data to keep a copy first.
3. Choose Delete my account and confirm. If you have a plan, it is cancelled first so you are not charged again.

Your account, workspace, business analysis, leads, messages, WhatsApp conversations, alerts and connected devices are deleted straight away. Copies in our encrypted backups are erased within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires, such as payment records for tax, and the list of people who asked not to be contacted, so they never are.

2. If you can't sign in

Email privacy@thayu.ai from the email address of your account with the subject “Delete my data”. We confirm it's you, delete everything as above and reply within 30 days (usually within 2 working days).

3. Data from Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp (Meta)

Thayu.AI doesn't use “Log in with Facebook”. When a business connects its WhatsApp Business number, Thayu.AI receives the messages people send that number, their WhatsApp name and phone number. It uses them only to show the conversation to that business and to reply for it.

• You messaged a business that uses Thayu.AI on WhatsApp: reply STOP in the chat to stop messages, and email privacy@thayu.ai with your phone number to have your conversation and details deleted.
• You connected a Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp account to Thayu.AI: in Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites and remove Thayu.AI. Then delete your Thayu.AI account (section 1), or email us (section 2), and we delete everything we received from Meta.

4. If Thayu.AI shows your business or a post of yours

Thayu.AI only uses information businesses and people chose to publish. To have your business, website or post removed and never shown again, use Remove my business, or email privacy@thayu.ai.
